ocdWhat does it mean when you bite your finger nails and or pick at the skin around your thumbs?
Personal anxiety.

Hyperactive nerves

Not too much self discipline

and a lot on your mind all at once.What does it mean when you bite your finger nails and or pick at the skin around your thumbs?
it mean you have anxiety its something you should look into.
all the skin that overlaps the nail is called cuticles. It's not a good habit. i'm lucky i wasnt born with that habit
i'm not anxious about anything and i dont have a nervous disposition - i do it out of boredom
For me...yes its a nervous habit...or sometimes it an indicator that there was or is something ';bothering'; me and I have put it on the back burner, so it leaks out in this fashion
That's a way you deal with anxiety. I do it too.
maladaptive overgrooming. go to the nail salon and get acrylic nails and you will stop. worked for me.
you need some iron vitamins
No Smart.
hungry
nervous or thinking about something, which u need to find an answer to...and is important

so i guess ';nervous or concerned or just making a somewhat important decision';
you need vitamins!
It means you're a nail-biting, skin picking nervous wreck.

Me too.
nervous habit. work on breathing techniques and thinking of positive things to do. soon you will forget.

watch the caffine intake too.
It means that you are too cheap to get a manicure.
That you are nervous or scared as hell!!!!
YOUR HUNGRY
Nervous maybe?
It's a nervout habit. Nothing to worry about unless you start doing some real damage.
You have a nasty habit.
it could be streess or something like that. next time yu do it, if you do, think about what you touched and who could have touched it before you. ';eeeeewwwwww';
Becaue your skin is dry and i'm trying to take it off as for you don't know ask yourself.
Very Nervous Habit
Sounds like the beggining stages of AIDS to me. Trust me Im a doctor. Go have yourself checked.
It's probably just a bad habit. I do it to and I kind of have some stress issues.
anxious state of mind, or excess worrying. it also implies wavery ness of thoughts n underconfident behaviour.
need iron..
