What are the white colors that tend to be at the bottom of our finger nails?

If you are talking about the half-moon shape section of nail, it's called the 'Lunula.' It's the visible part of the nail matrix which is where our nails grow out from. The matrix is located directly behind our proximal nail folds, commonly misidentified as the 'cuticle.' This part is obviously not visible.What are the white colors that tend to be at the bottom of our finger nails?

those white things are where your nails have not fully completed their hardening process, so they are softer than the rest of you nail as they are still undergoing work
