White blob in the middle of my finger nails? What does that mean?

Lack of calcium in your diet.

They aren't permanent.White blob in the middle of my finger nails? What does that mean?
This is the most common form of Leukonychia, small white spots on the nails. Picking and biting of the nails are a prominent cause in young children and nail biters. In most cases, when white spots appear on a single or a couple of fingers or toes, the most common cause is injury to the base (matrix) of the nail. When this is the case, white spots disappear after around eight months, which is the amount of time necessary for nails to regrow completely.White blob in the middle of my finger nails? You mean that thing that sorta looks like a dent or something, but you can't actually feel it?

I've got that too... I think.

It doesn't affect your finger or fingernail or anything, but it'll grow along with you fingernail, and *if* you cut your fingernail after a while, it'll be gone :)
Its a small bruise that happened before your nail was grown out to the nail. nothing to worry about; maybe you slammed your fingers in something a few months back, and your finally seeing the aftermath.
Lack of Calcium...
