Male is bad. But long fingernails on females is a sign of health and fertility.
On male: unless you want to make an unusual statement that most women will find unattractive (a turn off) or think resembles halloween costuming, keep your finger nails relatively short.





On female: It depends on what you want to draw attention to and style you are attempting. if your hands look much older than your face, you may want to keep your nails at a natural length- moderate to short- and use natural/clear looking nail polish if any. A little length makes your fingers look slightly longer and can be flattering if your nails continue a natural tone. In some regions/styles, it is popular for women to have long and colorful fingernails, while there has been a recent trend toward a more natural look. If you are not comfortable with the style, you may not be able to pull it off. If you choose longer nails, it is very noticeable if they are not clean or well cared for, however it is also a statement that you have had a recent manicure if you have.

guys: i don't mind, but not as long as most girls keep it





girls: it certainly looks good, but they're a ***** to keep clean, not chip, and try things like cook/type/etc.





and they have to be clean! it's disgusting if you have dirt underneath or chipped edges.





I always keep short nails...I like long ones but my jobs include a lot of ';touching'; and typing. so no long nails for me)
